This game could be set at any point in Zinnia's tale of Rayquaza's history, whether three thousand years ago, two thousand years ago, or one thousand years ago. Not a mythical this time, but a legendary tied very deeply to the myths of Hoenn.
We could witness the resurrection of the Johto beasts from the Burned Tower, visit the inhabitants of the Ruins of Alph, learn how Apricorn balls were invented, and all sorts of things. A Legends: Celebi game (possibly released alongside Let's Go Johto, if we ever get that) could well have us traveling to different eras of the past, the present, and possibly even the future. And also so we learn more about the Galarian legendary birds, because it seemed to me that they didn't get much explanation in the Crown Tundra and were just there.Īnother obvious answer, as Celebi is one of the more interesting legendary concepts in that it could travel back and forth through time before Dialga was ever a thing. I would also like a Legends: Mew game to feature the ancestors of the two Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres lines that we know today, so that we could gain a better understanding of how Pokemon evolution actually works.
How did it come to exist? How do other Pokemon descend from it? Why does it conceal itself? (Any ancient carvings specifically resembling the ancient Mew card from the second movie are only a plus.) And two, because Mew is one of my longtime favorite Pokemon and I want to learn more about it. One, because Kanto has a dearth of legendary/mythical Pokemon to choose from, and its other most well-known legendary, Mewtwo, did not exist in the past.
Pokemon Legends Games I Want For Every Mainline Region In terms of long rants and theories, how do you feel about Ultra Beasts and the origin of the Pokemon world, now that we've had so many legendaries and so many potential explanations for how Pokemon came into being? I'm hoping that if we get Sinnoh remakes there's some juicy lore to sink my teeth into. When I saw he'd dropped his Wooloo I was genuinely concerned for him, and when he picked it back up again I felt like a proud mother, I swear.Īnyway, this is a really neat idea for a thread - I've actually been thinking of doing something similar, but I have a bajillion projects lmao mine was actually inspired by The Dex, the old YouTube show, because I just loved how much they cared about Pokemon and all the things that went into each design. Wh - everyone I know LOVES Hop, and I think his arc is probably the best thing in SwSh! Very VERY few Pokemon character arcs have an effect on gameplay - Bianca's Pokemon that she catches are often tied into story events and Trace has something similar with his Cubone, but other than that there's not much, and it NEVER plays out the way it does with Hop.
